Man charged with stabbing friend over Uber fee – The Ledger


OCALA — A 36-year-previous man stands charged with aggravated battery with a lethal weapon after he allegedly stabbed a friend Friday night time throughout a struggle reportedly over Uber charges.

Michael Dean McHenry was launched from the Marion County Jail by Saturday afternoon on $2,000 bail on the cost, which was tied to a stabbing at a residence within the 600 block of 59th St.

A MCSO report signifies the stabbing was reported at 10:34 p.m. and seemed to be tied to a dispute over who would pay an Uber fee for a journey that McHenry evidently took to get to the residence.

The stabbing accidents have been non-life threatening, in response to the report.
