Miami man accused of posing as rideshare driver, holding women… – WPLG Local 10


PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Police in South Carolina are looking for a South Florida man accused of posing as a rideshare driver to select up ladies, together with University of South Carolina college students, and holding them towards their will.

Columbia, South Carolina, police said Farris Kaloti is accused of assaulting a lady who acquired out of his automotive on Nov. 26 and tried to assist her pal get out. Police stated the lady was handled at a hospital for scrapes and bruises to her leg.

A campus alert said the suspect is accused of providing rides to a number of ladies and taking them to locations aside from their meant locations, refusing to allow them to out.

Court data determine Kaloti, 28, as a Miami resident.

The alert stated Kaloti is not affiliated with the college however has been reported to be on or close to campus.
