Ford's Chariot rideshare service expands to New York City – Engadget

New Yorkers are set to get yet one more transportation choice this summer time, when Ford’s shuttle service Chariot expands into the town. The service initially launched in San Francisco in September 2016, with the automaker not lengthy after saying its plans to roll it out to eight new cities in 2017.

Chariot is a part of Ford’s continued funding into its Smart Mobility program. When it arrives in New York the service will run two pre-deliberate routes in Manhattan and Brooklyn for $four per journey, with further crowdsourced routes to be added at a later date.
