Uber driver charged with raping teen passenger in Australia – Seattle Times


BRISBANE, Australia (AP) — An Uber driver was charged on Friday with raping a 16-year-previous passenger in the japanese Australian metropolis of Brisbane, the second driver from the journey-hailing service to be charged with sexually assaulting a passenger in the town in every week.

Queensland state police stated the 37-year-previous man raped the teenager in his automotive on July eight, and the woman reported the assault to police the subsequent morning. Police have launched no different particulars, together with the driver’s identify.
