Uber drivers will quickly be again on metropolis streets after Calgary’s elected officers voted Monday 11-Four in favour of rideshare bylaw changes being pitched by metropolis administration.

The brash U.S.-based experience-hailing firm has stated it is going to swiftly return to Calgary if council approves the proposed amendments to the livery transport bylaw.

Cab drivers have gathered outdoors council chambers with indicators to protest the choice.
